How it works
We usually count age in years, but it's fun and sometimes useful to see it in smaller units. Enter your birth date — and, if you know it, your birth time for extra precision — and the tool shows how long you've been alive in total days, weeks, months, hours and minutes, all counted from the very beginning.
Each figure is a running total, not a remainder: "total days" is your entire age expressed in days, and "total minutes" is that same age in minutes. The display refreshes every second, so you can literally watch the minutes tick upward. Months are approximated using the average month length (about 30.44 days) so they line up with the calendar over the long run.
It's a great novelty for birthdays and milestones — spotting when you'll hit 10,000 days old, for example. Past-only dates are required; a future date is flagged rather than producing nonsense. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is stored.
